We offer a FREE returns service for deliveries to an UK address only, via Royal Mail, enabling you to select the correct fitting shoe, no matter how long it takes, with no further postage costs to yourself. Please ensure that you obtain proof of posting from the Post Office as failure to do so will result in you being liable to us for the cost of the product and postage if it is not delivered back to us. Customer Comment: The black Dalton shoe retains the excellent quality of DB shoes and gave plenty of room for my wide feet.
However, minor physical changes in this new design have made it unwearable for me.
After about a kilometer of walking both my heels developed blisters that took a few weeks to heal and were painful.
After healing and putting in heel grip, protectors, and walking about 2 more km, both areas at the bottom of my fibula (the bones that stick out at the side of the neel) also dlso developed very sore open blisters.
Having complained to DB, their only comment was that the manufacturer had changed. Their usually suberb customer relations failed to replace the shoes as I had worn them outside.Our comment: Slip on shoes are great for convenience of putting on, but are not suitable for miles of walking as there is no fastening to hold the shoe securely to the foot. Without a lace or strap the natural gait pattern of walking has more "flex" than a shoe (especially when new) which means that the heel rubs against the back of the shoe as you walk. This is natural and not a fault of the shoe. If you are walking long distances please do not purchase a slip on shoe, but one with a lace fastening ideally. -

Customer Comment: I am tremendously grateful to DB. For more than 2 years their velcro-fastening products gave me a mobility I should not otherwise have had. But my feet seemed to be getting a bit better, so these Daltons were an experiment to see if I could get back to standard shoes. I could, and they are great! -
